This version prioritizes stability and will receive long-term support. Features previously released in earlier releases have been enhanced and/or corrected. Appeon strongly recommends that all users upgrade to PowerBuilder 2022 R3 to benefit from continued support.

Existing Feature Enhancements

  • PDF Builder – This release brings extended functions and properties for the PDF Builder, including options to set fallback fonts, margins, and support for SVG images. Learn more
  • RichTextEdit Control – The RTE control toolbar has been enhanced with additional formatting buttons, such as RightToLeft and Increase Indent. Learn more
  • Auto Input Validation – Validate user inputs against data in DropDownDataWindow or DropDownListBox with a new validation property, accessible through coding or the property painter. Learn more
  • Image Sourced from URLs – PowerServer and PowerClient apps now support loading images from URLs. Learn more
  • PowerServer Configuration – Easily customize cloud app settings, including Web API timeouts, stored procedure cache values, and directly specify the Web API URL in the PowerServer project profile. Learn more

How Do I Get Started?
All new features are available in the CloudPro subscription level of PowerBuilder 2022 R3, which is now generally available for evaluation, upgrade, or purchase. Trial versions of the product are fully functional for a period of 30 days. Existing customers are entitled to receive this version as a free upgrade. New customers may purchase from Appeon or a local authorized reseller.
